Three 200W Wind Generators Installed in Kho Kao, Phetchabon Province
Kho Kao is a popular tourist destination in Thailand because of it's beautiful views. It is sometimes called the Switzerland of Thailand. ENGINEO was contacted by Khon Su Chat to install a wind generator system at his home because he noticed that there was a constant wind flow in that area. The wind generators were ment to run lighting, telivision, and a radio. The rest of the homes electrical needs were to be run off an electrical moter.
The wind spins the blade of the wind generator which turns the wind energy into an AC three phase electrical current. The current passes through a convertor which changes it into DC and is stored in batteries. The batteries allow the electricity to be discharged at a smoth rate even when the wind generator is not creating a constant voltage. The electricity that the battery discharges goes through an invertor that converts it back into AC and then the electricity can run the lights, telivision, and radio.
This is a circuit diagram of the system showing where every component of the system is connected.
